Tomo Short FAQ

What if I cannot sleep with light in my room?

Tomo uses colored light modulation. If you are sensitive to light, it is possible to completely turn off Tomo’s colored light technology and still benefit from Tomo’s wave technology. However, we recommend using Tomo’s colored light feature, which
operates at very low intensities. Studies have shown that even low-intensity colored light modulation can provide significant benefits.

Using the + & - buttons on Tomo it is possible to adjust or
completely turn off Tomo’s light.

Does Tomo act as an alarm clock?

Tomo doesn't function as an alarm clock. Tomo's sleep plan does include a wake-up phase which is designed to gradually emit
higher-intensity light (to mimic natural sunrise) and faster natural brain
waves. NOTE: Be sure to set your own separate alarm clock device.

 No sleep data from last night?
  • Ensure the bracelet battery is fully charged.
  • Verify that the Tomo bracelet is positioned with the sensors on the top wrist, 1-2 finger widths above the wrist bone.
  • Note that in cases where sleep duration was less than three hours - data collection
    will be insufficient for analysis.
What should I do if there's a red dot on the Tomo icon onthe homepage?

Tomo needs internet
connectivity in order to function. To establish a connection:

  • Ensure that a Wi-Fi network is available.
  • Verify that your smart device is connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Power cycle the Tomo:

-Turn off the Tomo via the power switch on the underside of Tomo.
-Unplug the power source.
-Reconnect the power source.
-Turn Tomo on.
-Wait 2 minutes for Tomo to boot up and connect to the server.

  • Check the color of the dot on the Tomo icon in the top left corner of the Tomo Sphere app homepage.
    Red- disconnected.
    Green - connected
  • If Tomo in still disconnected, try to Remove Device from the app and pair it again.

Water was spilled on the Tomo device

The Tomo device is not waterproof. If water was spilled on the device, unplug it immediately and contact Tomo customer support. The Tomo bracelet Is waterproof and rated IP68.

What will happen if there is a power outage while sleep plan is active?

Tomo does not function without power. Tomo will resume operation once power is restored and continue the protocol until the scheduled wake-up time.

 I found out I'm pregnant. Can I continue using Tomo?

Tomo has been certified for human safety, under, but no specific studies have been conducted on pregnant women.
Consult your doctor about using Tomo during pregnancy.

 I woke up with a headache. Should I continue using the device?

Yes, Tomo is safe to use, and no headache-related side effects have been observed.
